There are a lot of so-called "designers" and "custom jewelry specialists" on the internet who claim to be such, but very few make items that are as difficult as these. Let's face it anyone can make a simple solitaire with a twist or halo diamond pendant and call it "custom". However we have the expertise and work with the best in the industry to truly make anything you can imagine come to life. 25 Carat Madeira Citrine Heart & Diamond Pave / Bezel Necklace by Danhov
This beautiful necklace was designed in house and we had it made by the Danhov company. We choose Danhov because the necklace required a very complex bezel that had to have perfect lines and excellent pave work. Similar to their Meno line, they are one of the best in the business for bezel and pave work. The design basics were relayed to the Danhov team who fine tuned the design and created the 3D CAD Model that was later made into a wax by machine and cast to be finished by hand. Once the design was approved they got to to work. Since we're local to the Danhov manufacturing facilities, we oversaw the project and met with the designers as needed to ensure all details we were looking for came to life just as we intended it to.
The finished project was simply fabulous and it flowed and hung just as we had hoped. The photos do not do this necklace justice, there is a ton of sparkle being thrown from this piece. The entire necklace was cast and constructed out of 18K solid gold which also complimented the beautiful color of the center stone. There is a total of 2.05 carats of G-H color, VS 2-SI1 quality diamonds in the pave and bezel work. There are even diamonds placed on the shoulders which gather the three chains at the sides as well as the bail for the center pendant. The center stone is 25.2 carats, 19.6mm x 19.6 x 12.7mm and have a beautiful deep orange hue which takes on a deep reddish color under incandescent light. All the work done was perfect and we couldn't have been happier with the final product.

The 2 LB 18K Gold Necklace
This necklace obviously isn't for everyone, it takes a very special person to wear such a piece, and an ever more special person to afford it. This necklace took us 8 months to make because of design changes, etc. Each time we made a necklace our customer wanted BIGGER. Bigger? -- We kept on saying? How much bigger do you want it? Bigger he said. So bigger we made it. This project was difficult on so many levels. Making the curvature just right, making the links lay properly on the neck, even just estimating final weight and price became a challenge. Unlike most link necklaces this one HAD to be done by computer, carving the wax by hand simply was not an option.
Once we finished polishing and the gold dust settled this necklace weighed in at a whopping 894 grams. That's 1.97 pounds for you imperial folk. This is the kind of necklace that puts Mr. T to shame. Hopefully our client won't develop a sore neck after wearing this item, but in the end he was very happy and we were delighted to have made his wishes come true.
