Is your diamond certified? You may be surprised to find out it’s not. Having a diamond graded by a lab does not mean you can be sure the grading is accurate. And gemological labs certainly do not certify any diamonds. The lab’s grade is an opinion only and carries no guarantees for accuracy, which is why it’s called a “grading report”, and not a “certificate”.
With the Certified by Adylon program we guarantee the grade of all diamonds we sell so you don't have to worry "what if" later on. In fact if the diamond you wish to purchase is not up to our strict standards, we will not even sell it to you. No other online diamond dealer certifies their diamonds like we do.
So how does it work? Simply purchase any loose diamond at Adylon (with or without a ring). We will personally inspect the stone by running it through a battery of tests to ensure it meets our strict standards before selling the stone to you. If at anytime in the future, you suspect the diamond grades are less then advertised simply have an independent gemologist appraise it. If they feel the grade is not correct, send in your stone and appraisal to us. We will then send it to any major lab* of your choosing, at our expense. If the lab agrees the grading is less then we originally disclosed when selling to you, we will either buy back your diamond at full price or give you an adjustment in price based on an equivalent diamond we sell at our discretion, no questions asked. What We Guarantee:
- Color and Clarity are the two biggest contributors to error in lab reports since they are a comparison of diamonds side by side using a lab technician's trained eye, which is why human error can occur. We guarantee these grades to be as disclosed at the time of purchase or higher, period.
- Metrics (weight, table, depth, crown , pavilion and size measurements) which are measured by tools or machines are all guaranteed to be as stated with no error exceeding +/-0.005cts, +/- 0.2%, +/- 0.05mm, or +/- 0.2 degrees, depending on the measurement unit.
You can be assured that the color, clarity, carat weight, cut proportions and measurements of your diamond are all measured precisely and we stand behind the diamond grading 100%.
* You may choose to have diamonds re-graded by any of the following major labs: GIA, AGS or EGL-USA. We do not recommend using any of the lower tier labs. GIA is the industry standard for diamond grading.
